Working in the scientific field for over 15 years, I have extensive experience in the collection, collation, cleaning and wrangling of data from experiments. I develop the right questions for an efficient and informative experiment, and determine the appropriate statistical analyses for each experimental design. I visualise the data for report and article writing to be shared within my research group, to peers at scientific conferences, in peer-reviewed articles, and in the media for the general audience.
I utilise platforms such as Github for consistent version control of my data and analyses. It also serves as a useful collaborative and sharing platform, allowing transparency of data and processes.
I code in R, paired with Rstudio, extensively for my data analysis, as well as increasingly utilising Python and SQL in my work. For data visualisation I work in R, Python, and Tableau , as well as Adobe Illustrator, depending on the type of data presentation required.
Certifications from RMIT;
Business Analytics and Visualisation

Business analytics utilises data to draw insights, helping inform a business’ decisions with improved accuracy and efficiency. This courses utilises Excel and Tableau for analysing and visualising data.
Business analytics with SQL and Python

This course utilises SQL, or Structured Query Language, to extract data from tables within a database, and Python, a programming language that has data analysis libraries built on top of it, allowing for data to be analysed and manipulated in order to tell compelling stories and drive business decisions.
