An initiative of Science and Technology Australia, I was chosen as 1 of 60 women and non-binary scientists for a 2 year program aimed to equip STEM experts with media and communication skills, to develop highly visible media and public role models, allowing us to act with influence and empower the next generation to undertake careers in STEM regardless of their identity.
